Hello fellow teachers, parents and students. I empathize with you in dealing with barriers affecting learning. Well, here are a few tips to make life easier in dealing with ESOL children. Take heed, it's all possible.

Remember

1. Have a ready smile and be empathetic toward all our children, especially those with special needs.
   
   
2. Create a langage learning environment where the child will feel comfortable, be willing to take risks and make mistakes, and most of all, be able to engage in meaningful tasks.
   
   
3. Do NOT encourage students to give up their first language. Instead, encorage them to maintain and build upon it.
